Work is moving on a pace in readiness for the opening in April of this fantastic new leisure facility in Cornwall.
Seahorse, sheltered under the cliffs and with stunning sea views is a complete leisure facility, with two indoor swimming pools, extensive childrens play area and entertainment venue with places to eat, places to drink, places to relax and places to sunbathe.
The new build is being fitted out with various high tech audio visual systems as well as a fantastic new lighting scheme, all designed by Pyramid.
When taking the brief, Pyramid were asked to design a flexible system to cope with the varied acts that perform in season at this busy holiday park, but with an eye to quality and detail not normally associated with this type of facility.
Entertainment lighting, sound and screens are being installed into the leisure bars and restaurant, complete with AMX control systems for easy recall of preset set ups.
The entire lighting system for the building has come under the scrutiny of Pyramid, and we have designed all the public area systems and control, swimming pool effects lighting, as well as the exterior lighting to ensure that the new facility looks at it's very best.
We have worked with the architects to design a system that provides efficiency and longevity, as well as a keen design detail to ensure that the interior design and architecture is brought to life. 3D models and photometric visualisations were created to ensure that the effects generated were accurate and appropriate, as well as serving as an effective demonstration of the design itself.
