3D visualisation
Pyramid are
award winning producers of stereoscopic 3D systems, and have an in house facility to produce 3D films and animations, as well as having all of the equipment to enable you to have a fully 3D experience for your event or exhibition.
In the past three years we have provide 3D systems for clients across the UK and Europe, and this ranges form education systems in museums, engineering visualisations for the oil industry, design visualisation in the marine environment and just for fun in exhibitions and events.
We can even brand up 3D specs for your event so as to ensure that company logo and message are kept to the fore.
We recently provided a systems solution for a client whilst exhibiting at the Frankfurt, and they branded their specs and handed them out across the 10 halls of the largest show of it's kind in the world, so getting attaention was pretty tough ! They were absolutely delighted with the result. The 3D system we installed was incredibly effective, and drove massive amounts of activity to their stand, as it provided a wow factor not available anywhere else at the show. Business was up, and everyone was happy.

How does it work?In basic terms, the human brain can be tricked into thinking it is seeing two distinctly different images, and as such a dual image being projected can mimic the view that we would see from both our left and right eyes at the same time. The problem comes when you project these images together, as the brain needs to see them as to images, so this is where polarisation comes in. This enables the eye to view each image seperately, and is the basic principle behind 3D theatres in theme parks and engineering solutions.
There are other forms of 3D systems, but polarisation is the simplest to understand. The image below shows how a computer outputs the images through a special conversion system, which in turn sends it through projectors. These projectors have polarised filters in front of them which is then projected onto a silver surface screen. The viewer looks at this ' dual' image using polarised specs and sees an amazing floating image !
